  1. 1102 NETWARE USER BASICS

  3. This computer-based training (CBT) course presents concepts needed 
  4. by new network users. It covers basic NetWare concepts for both 
  5. the NetWare v2.x and v3.x operating systems and includes hands-on 
  6. exercises. Topics include NetWare introduction, keyboard use, DOS 
  7. and OS/2, NetWare security, logging in and logging out, and common 
  8. questions and solutions for network users.

  19. Audience: People who are using NetWare as their computer work 
  20. environment but not necessarily those who must support or manage 
  21. the computer network environment.

  23. Prerequisites: None.
  24.  
  25. Required Equipment: The following configurations support the 
  26. installation and execution of the CBT course:
  27. Ñ IBM PC (XT, AT or true compatible) or PS/2
  28. Ñ 5.25-inch or 3.5-inch diskette drive
  29. Ñ CGA, EGA, MGA (fully Hercules-compatible) or VGA graphics 
  30. adapter
  31. Ñ DOS 3.0 or above
  32. Ñ 640KB memory
  33. Ñ 1.5MB free space on a hard disk or file server 
  34.  
  35. Note: This is not a Windows-based application.
